The Quest for the Dark Planet M'Lenar Asteroid Mining Base.

The Xyrene Sector offers very little compfort in Deep Space with the exception of Human owned/operated Space Stations. GW Space Stations and Corporate Asteroid Mining bases are a melting pot for Humans and Aliens as they exchange commodoties and labor among the turbulence of a post war climate.

The M'Lenar Asteroid Base (pictured here) sits at the edge of the great Xyrene Nebula between a Debris field and "Xyrene Minor" outer core system. This base owned and operated by Omni Corp, is housed on a asteroid rich in Xyrcanthium which the Portable Station literally attaches to the asteroid's surface and "plugs in". The Asteroid is drilled and injected with miles of conduit circulating through to a "Core Reactor" that generates the Alien fuel that is much sought after. The M'Lenar Base is also the last possible stop before entering "The Lost Zone" of space where Pirates and Marauders await patiently for ships entering the great Xyrene Nebula!
